Dec 17, 2024 How I automated Webflow's social media moderation with Gumloop |
Back in 2020 when I started working at Airtable, my then boss—Katja Nelson if we’re going to name people—said “yeah the webinar workflow sucks, but how can we make it 10% better this week?”.
And then she asked me again the following week and the week after that. And after a while, the webinar workflow became awesome.
This stuck with me because I quickly realized answering (and implementing the answers to) that question is the only way I’ve seen workflows improve. To you I may be the Airtable guy, but to everyone I work with I’m the “Okay yeah this sucks, but how do we make this 10% better this week?" guy.
And so I’m excited to take this personality on the web with me in partnership with Giovanni Segar—consummate automator, long time fan of AATT and a fellow believer in the 10% better way of life.
So every two weeks, we'll bring you a piece on how you can make your workflows 10% better. Sometimes a thought piece, other times a practical example or showing off something we've built ourselves and improved upon.
I'm super happy to be back writing about the topic I love—making your life easier and to bring back writing on AATT. If you have any thoughts on what we should write about please let us know.

Issue 5 — April 5, 2024 This type of productivity advice is a mirage Written by Giovanni Segar In recent years, there has been an explosion of content creators promising to revolutionize our personal and professional productivity. They offer an endless array of Notion templates, bullet journal methods, content frameworks, and organization apps, all designed to help us squeeze more out of every precious minute. Beneath the sleek interfaces and clever marketing lies a troubling reality: many of...
Issue 4 — February 29, 2024 How to find and use hidden APIs to automate processes Written by Giovanni Segar I stumbled upon the web’s equivalent of a secret passage in a castle, and what I learned has enabled me to automate processes I never thought possible. Let me explain. Most of us think of an API as being binary: an app either has one or it doesn’t. But that’s not quite true. Every web app must have some connection to a backend, and essentially we can use that connection to automate...
Dec 17, 2024 How I automated Webflow's social media moderation with Gumloop Written by Aron Korenblit I'd never thought I'd say (type?) these words but I've spent a lot of time in Asana recently. And honestly, I didn't absolutely hate it. I'd even go so far as to say that I enjoyed it. Don't tell anyone, it would kill my brand. Some context: Webflow recently migrated its project planning to Airtable while hoping to maintain its actual day to day project management in Asana. As the local...
